Mission Statement

Rainbow Valley Foster Care respects and values the foster youth we serve as unique individuals. Through safe and nurturing environments, enduring relationships, and high ethical and professional standards, we are committed to providing our youth with services and resources that will enable them to achieve their full potential.

Group Homes

Our group homes house 6 girls each. These girls range in age from 12 to 18 and come from diverse backgrounds. One house has three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, family room, and a relaxing backyard. Our other house has three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, 3 bathrooms, family room and an upstairs study area.

The homes are staffed 24 hours a day with "awake staff". During the day , the ratio of staff to youth is 1 to 2. During sleeping hours the staff to youth ratio is 1 to 6. These staff assist the residents in daily living skills, personal hygiene, conflict resolution and behavior modification.

The girls enjoy taking walks and going to the park. Other activities they enjoy include going to movies, having movie nights at home, play softball, having barbeques at the lake and going to the gym where they can work out, play basketball, play racquetball and swim. The girls also like to attend school and church functions.
